Desert Marigold (Baileya multiradiata) - Description
Baileya multiradiata is a Western desert native, growing to 1 to 1.5 feet high. It bears bright yellow flowers above gray-green foliage. It's basic bloom period is spring through fall, but year round bloom is possible.
Desert Marigold (Baileya multiradiata) - Blooming
Typically, the Desert Marigold will bloom from Spring to Autumn, but if they receive periodic moisture they can bloom year round. The flowers are small, bright yellow, daisy-like flowers.

Does well in western desert where it is native to. The Desert Marigold will grow to around 1 1/2 ft. tall.

Seeds should be sown in Autumn or Spring. Self sows.

Keep the seeds moist until they germinate. After they sprout reduce the irrigation frequency to once to twice per week. To prolong the flowering season continue to water once every week or two. Does best with good draining soil.
