Both early maturing and extremely productive in a wide range of temperatures, 'Carmen' also exudes traditional Italian sweet pepper taste. The compact, bushy plants yield abundant horn-shaped fruits so characteristic of grilled and sauteed peppers throughout the Mediterranean. As they mature from green to red they get even sweeter, making them an excellent choice for fresh salads or cooked dishes. This updated version of the classic Italian pepper should take around 75 days for it to reach full maturity.
