Cucumber (Cucumis sativus 'Sugar Crunch Hybrid') - Description
This 4" long, remarkably sweet cucumber with crisp, crunchy texture means you can fix cucumbers in all sorts of new ways. It has the smooth tender skin of a greenhouse cuke, yet the petite size of a pickler. The plant makes mostly female flowers, so expect an incredible 60 to 70 cukes per plant. The vines are compact (though not a bush) and resistant to mosaic virus, and powdery and downy mildews. This Burpee exclusive grows best in full sun and is ready to harvest starting in just 57 days.
