Hubbard Squash (Cucurbita maxima 'Blue Hubbard') - Description
Blue-gray, slightly ridged, 15 lg. fruits keep well. Flesh is yellow-orange, fine grained, dry, sweet and freezes well. Ready 120 days after seeding. GARDEN HINTS: Leave on vine until fully mature. Gather before frost, leaving part of the stem attached to the fruit. Store for winter use at 45-55 deg. F in a dry place.
