Distinctive, dark green Italian-type zucchini with light green ridges. Appears star-shaped when slices are cut crosswise, and has sweet taste and crisp texture. Upright, vigorous plants with open habit are ready to harvest 50 days after sowing seed in the garden. As with all squash this zucchini grows best in full sun, rich organic soil, and decent drainage.
