Euphorbia helioscopia (Sun Spurge) is a species of spurge native to most of Europe, northern Africa, and eastward through most of Asia. Other old folk names include wart spurge, umbrella milkweed and "madwoman's milk".

All Euphorbia have very small flowers with one female flower clustered by several male flowers. The showy "flowers" of Euphorbia are colorful bracts beneath the true flowers.
