Spanish Flag (Lantana camara 'Lucky Lemon Cream') - Description

A profusion of brightly colored flower clusters cover neat, upright mounds of foliage. An ideal choice for mixed containers, window boxes, or butterfly gardens. Warm yellow, tiny florettes (with some dusted in cream) create very pleasing blooms that cover this shrub from spring until late fall. A horticultural wonder with it's low water and low maintenance needs, and yet it will be the focal point in your garden no matter where you plant it. Lantana camara 'Lucky Lemon Cream' can bloom year round in zones 10 and 11 for a real treat in your tropical themed garden. Beware of the toxic fruits that form after the flowers are dropped--they will look like fat blackberries but can be fatal if ingested by kids or pets. In very temperate zones beware that Lantana can actually become invasive, and may be even banned in your area as a noxious weed.
