Osage Orange (Maclura pomifera) - Description
M. pomifera is native from Arkansas to Oklahoma and Texas. It's young branches are thornier than mature ones. It bears orange wood that is very hard. It produces glossy medium green leaves to 5 inches long. It withstands cold, heat, wind, poor soil, moderate alkalinity, and wet or dry conditions.

The Osage Orange tree is a fast grower and will grow to 60 ft. Tree does well in full sun.
