Gulf Muhlygrass (Muhlenbergia capillaris) - Description
Soft billowy haze of purple flowers top fine-textured, narrow green leaves, providing a stunning display.. Use for borders or as an accent.

As with most grasses, the flowers and floral inflorescences are relatively inconspicuous, but some species (M. emersleyi, Bull Grass; M. rigens, Deer Grass; M. capillaris, Pink Muhly) have floral inflorescences that have purplish or pinkish floral spikes.
