Moss-Rose Purslane (Portulaca grandiflora) - Description
Portulaca grandiflora is fantastic for hard to grow area where you might want a bit of color. Really thrives in poor sandy soils and will act as a ground cover in these sunny dry spots. Use in a rock garden for best effect and to really bring out the color of its flashy blooms. Flowers have the look of roses in both the double and single forms, and come in all colors including: rose pink, red, yellow, and white.
