Carrot (Daucus carota 'Goldinhart') - Description
Burpee first offered the extra-large French variety "Chantenay" in 1893, and immediately began improving the strain. The result was "Goldinhart", introduced in 1929. The roots are 6" long, a full 2" thick at the shoulder, and a beautiful golden orange. Deliciously sweet and tender.
