Purple Verbena (Verbena bonariensis) - Description
Tall, and very striking this Verbena is a favorite for cottage gardens. Stiff stems with open, airy sprays of tiny violet-blue clusters, and only a few leaves, making this an excellent companion for many annuals. Very long blooming, 3-4' tall. Withstands drought or dry periods quite well.

Flowers come in many different colors. Blooms in clusters of small, tubular 5-petaled flowers at the tops of floral stems.
