Bushy shrub with spreading, arched branches. Best grown in containers, it thrives in heat and full sun. Plants with bright sky blue flower clusters, grow well in containers and tubs, as well as flower beds. In frost-free areas Escapade can reach 4-6' tall. Grow as an 18-24" annual in the far north of its range.

Annuals, perennials, and evergreen shrubs. Plumbago grows best in full sun. Stems need support. Grow plants inside if temperatures drop below 45°F (7°C). In sites with warm climates, perennial and shrub species work well in a border. Climbers grow nice over arches.
