Annuals, perennials, and shrubs. Plant does well in full sun. Plant height varies depending on variety. One species can grow to approx. 1 ft. tall. Perennials are frost sensitive. Grow as annuals and use in bedding, border edging. Early-spring flowering perennials should be grown in containers under glass. In areas with warmer conditions, perennials can be grown in open sites with shrubs. N. repens works best in a rock garden. Can become invasive.
