Common Sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Vanilla Ice') - Description

Clusters of light cream flowers whose petals become more yellow at the center of the bloom. These blooms contrast nicely with their with deep chocolate eyes. A real fun hue of color that works wonderfully with other sunflowers in your garden. Bring some inside to allow its festive color to light up the inside of your home!

Grow in sunny, open areas. Plant in drifts at the back corners and along fences. You should make sure tall varieties are sheltered from the wind or they may even need staking. They will tolerate heat, but frost will kill them.
