Verbena (Verbena x 'Mammoth') - Description

Modern verbenas are low growers for ground cover or hanging baskets. Old-fashioned verbenas are very different tall plants, large flowers and good fragrance. Gardeners in Europe, especially the French, have been perfecting this plant for years. This distinguished strain from the turn of the century gets 12-18" tall with a wide range of colors: scarlet, pink, purple and white, many with white eyes.
