Garden Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus) - Description

Cosmos are native to scrub and meadow areas in Mexico, the southern United States, Central America and northern South America south to Paraguay. They are used as ornamental plants popular in gardens for the 'naturalized' look. Fantastic for longtime color in the garden and for cutting and bringing indoors to enjoy the festive daisy-like blooms.

Cosmos bloom in spring and summer, and come in a variety of colors such as pink, white, orange, violet, and red. Deadhead to lengthen flowering period.
