Rose Mallow (Hibiscus moscheutos 'Cherry Brandy') - Description

Hibiscus moscheutos 'Cherry Brandy' is a stunning new hardy Hibiscus from Blooms of Bressingham Cordials Collection. The large dinner-plate sized red flowers adorn the plants from late summer until frost for excellent late season color. 'Cherry Brandy' is generously self branching which results in very full and sturdy plants. The large leaves are striking with tints of bronze, purple, and green. A vast improvement in habit compared to traditional Hibiscus.

Once cuttings have formed roots, you can transplant. If planting seeds, soak them in warm water for an hour before planting. Either start indoors 12 weeks before the last frost, or outdoors after the frost has past. You can also sow seeds directly in the fall, as soon as the seed casing has begun to split.
