Calliopsis (Coreopsis x 'Red Shift') - Description
'Redshift' is a clump-forming variety that produces large 2 inch diameter creamy yellow flowers. Coreopsis 'Redshift' adds a pop of color with a ring of red that encircles the gold button-like centers. In the cool fall, new blooms bring an unexpected "shift" in color that varies from pale yellow with red streaking through the petals to a solid red.

Flower colors vary in this genus but include yellow, orange, maroon and red. Coreopsis produces daisy-like flowerheads that attract bees. Deadhead to lengthen flowering period.
