Heartleaf Brunnera (Brunnera macrophylla 'Emerald Mist') - Description
Brunnera macrophylla 'Emerald Mist' is an improved version of Brunnera macrophylla 'Langtrees' with more pronounced silver spots that connect to form a silver collar around the perimeter of the leaf. The heart shaped leaves also have a light silver dusting over the entire leaf surface which gives it a unique metallic look. The baby blue forget-me-not flowers accent the showy foliage in the spring. 'Emerald Mist' is an outstanding deer resistant perennial for the shade garden!

Flowers in the spring and often times well into summer, especially when grown with partial shade. The flowers resemble Forget-Me-Nots with their yellow centers and blue, almost translucent petals.

Rhizomatous perennials. Can take full sun in cooler climates; otherwise needs partial shade. Can reach up to 1 1/2 ft. tall and 2 ft. wide. Grow Brunnera in a border, or as a groundcover.
