Tulipa saxatilis is a species of the genus of tulips (Tulipa) in the family of the lily family (Liliaceae).

Tulips will bloom in March-May and come in many different colors. Generally, the bulbs require some cooling period in order to produce flowers. This cooling period usually lasts 8 to 10 weeks. The temperature should be in the low 40s to promote the best flower induction.
