Millet (Pennisetum glaucum 'Jester Hybrid') - Description
A "chameleon" in sun or shade, 'Jester' has a new look every day! Its foliage color magically changes as the plant grows: young leaves are bright chartreuse with an overlay of burgundy. As the season progresses, the dramatic, harlequin-like coloring slowly gives way to burgundy until, by summer's end, 'Jester' turns a fully bronzed wine color, very dramatic and unusual. Adding to its interest, 12" corn-like tassels burst from the tops of the plants in summer, lasting well into fall. Ht: 42". Annual.
