Plants yield early and need no support. One packet has 2 oz. of seed unless noted, and will sow a row of about 20'; one pound sows about 160'. Burpee's seed is not treated. Brittle Wax. Early, tremendous crops. Round pods, up to 7" long, slightly curved; tender and crisp. Burpee's favorite wax bean for fresh use, freezing, canning. Proven tops for productivity, flavor and wide adaptability. Sun.

Sow seeds after risk of frost (preferentially when the soil warms to 65-75°F (18-24°C)). The seeds should be inserted 1" into the soil and 2" apart in rows 18" apart. Sowing seeds every 2 weeks throughout spring will ensure a constant harvest.
