We've added improved disease resistance. Like the original, Heavyweight II is the most productive bush bean we have ever seen. Stocky plants are only 18" tall and produce huge handfuls of sweet tender pods fully 8" long. Ready to harvest in about 53 days.

Bush Beans do not need to be staked. Needs full sun. Beans love the heat and are frost sensitive.

Sow seeds after risk of frost (preferentially when the soil warms to 65-75°F). The seeds should be inserted 1" into the soil and 2" apart in rows 18" apart. Sowing seeds every 2 weeks throughout spring will ensure a constant harvest.
