Golden Bamboo (Phyllostachys aurea) - Description

Phyllostachys aurea, golden bamboo or fishpole bamboo, is a bamboo species in the genus Phyllostachys native to Fujian and Zheijang in China. It is a 'running bamboo' type. Other vernacular names include: fairyland bamboo (Aust.), and monk's belly bamboo.
