The outstanding Triumph Tulips grow only about 10-12" tall. Plant them a bit closer together than you would normally plant tulips and they'll create a radiant 'ground cover', bursting with bloom in mid to late April. Also excellent in containers.

Many would readily associate tulips with Holland; however, these flowers are not native to Northern Europe at all. Tulips were originally from Turkey, Afghanistan and Iran. They are found in the mountainous regions of those countries, which explains why they need a cold period during winter in order flower properly. Plant parts can irritate the skin upon contact.
