The outstanding Triumph Tulips grow only about 10-12" tall. Plant them a bit closer together than you would normally plant tulips and they'll create a radiant 'ground cover', bursting with bloom in mid to late April. Also excellent in containers.

Tulips will bloom in March-May and come in many different colors. Generally, the bulbs require some cooling period in order to produce flowers. This cooling period usually lasts 8 to 10 weeks. The temperature should be in the low 40s to promote the best flower induction.

Many would readily associate tulips with Holland; however, these flowers are not native to Northern Europe at all. Tulips were originally from Turkey, Afghanistan and Iran.
