Hello everyone,
As obviously the small photo reports you like, here is a new on the mounting of a SiPorex cell concrete wall.
Project objective
The primary objective is to make a laundry room for placing washing machine, dryer and also storage of food.
The location will include the water heater and what is perfect is that there is already a small sink.
The second lens also consists of cutting the cold from the garage that rushes directly into the house via the door between the garage and the hallway.
This partition will welcome a door at its center. It’s a partition made in a garage with a north facing door.
This first photo thus presents the starting project:
So we see the location of the door slightly in the center and the red hatched partition.
SipoPex or PARPAING to mount my partition?
The question arises necessarily when you want to build a wall or partition, why choose such material rather than another?
Let’s see here a little bit of the benefits of SiporEx:
SIPOREX: technical sheet
SipoPex tiles can be purchased in many dimensions:
Length: 62.5 cm
Heights: 25 and 50 cm
Thickness: 5 to 15 cm
Which makes it possible to modulate his constructions.
Is the SiporEx fire cut?
If it is forbidden to put from the Siporex for the construction of a chimney avaloir, it can be recommended for the dressing of a chimney or barbecue.
The SIPOREX is therefore particularly recommended for its fire resistance.
SIPOREX: Thermal resistance
If a characteristic is essential for the choice of material, it is it, the thermal resistance of the SipoXex.
At the time of global warming, it is important in our constructions to consider alternatives to better isolate our homes so that they are no longer thermal colanders such as houses built in the 70s before the big shock tanker.
Small reminder: already, what is the thermal resistance?
To determine the thermal insulation of a material, we need to know the heat flow resistance (expressed in m2.K / W) presented by a given thick material.
Thermal resistance system R is large, the more insulating material.
So what are the characteristics of the SIPOREX in terms of insulation and thermal resistance?
The thermal conductivity coefficient of cellular concrete (or lambda) can lower up to 0.09 w / m.k
Which means that the thermal resistance of the SIPOREX for a 20 cm thick tile is equivalent to 0.2 (20 cm expressed in m) divided by 0.09, or r = 2.22 m².k / Wfor a 20cm thick Siporex
For reminder: R = E / λ (the thermal resistance is equal to the thickness of the material expressed in mether divided by the coefficient of thermal conductivity expressed in W / m.k)
You understand it, the lower the coefficient λ, the better is its insulation power.
By way of comparison, the thermal conductivity coefficient of the PARPAING is R = 0.23 m².K / W for a 20 cm thick (which makes us a coefficient of thermal conductivity λ of 0.87 W / mk for the PARPAING)
You understand it, the two materials do not board in the same yard!
Sipoorex cellular concrete tile 8 cm isolates as much as a 20 cm parpaing!
Do you understand the choice of the SipoNex!?
Tutorial: mount a partition SIOREX with door
Some euros spent later and a truck rented at Bricomarche and all the material is at home to finally be able to work!
The advantage of SIPOREX cellular concrete is that it is really very light, perfect for my back pain! ; -)
The door is a classic first price door.
Pay attention to the opening, right or left door, remember to make the right choice.
The door I chose is a right door pulling.
At first, the idea is to stop the door to mount the SipoXex partition around.
To get done, I used a movable vice and use the beam above the door to nail 2 latas:
Once the door is well wedged, it’s time to place the first cellular concrete tiles:
The first tiles of SipoNex followed quite quickly.
The installation is of a childish simplicity.
Do not forget to put seal tabs every 2 rows as well in the wall on one side and in the door of the other:
We see on this photo the sealing paw in the wall:
As I said at the beginning of reporting, the SipoXex is working very well and it is then possible to give it the desired shapes:
The tile has been cut rude previously, the Glue seal will do the rest!
