Chinese Forget-me-not (Cynoglossum amabile 'Firmament') - Description
A favorite old-fashioned annual with deep, clear blue blooms produced in loose sprays on stiff upright stems all summer long. Growing to 16" tall, this mat-forming biennial (grow as an annual) features attractive gray-green foliage. Ideal in borders and rock gardens. Annual in all zones, but can be grown as a biennial in zones 4 through 8 if seeds are sowed the summer before.

Blooms blue, purple, rose-pink, or white flowers, similar to forget-me-nots, from spring to fall. Each flower has a tubular corolla and 5 spreading lobes. Plants grown in soil that is too fertile will not flower well. They will become coarse and leafy.
