Dwarf Korean Lilac (Syringa meyeri 'Palibin') - Description

This is one of the more adaptable and fun Lilacs out there. It's shape and size is tight and compact creating a natural dwarf form of Lilac. It will fit in nicely along a back fence line or for a rambling gorgeous spring and summer hedge. Deliciously fragrant, lavender pink blooms dominate this shrub over the month of May. Beware that Lilacs blooms are a direct result of how cold the winter is in their growing region. Many people that have the nostalgic yearning for the lilacs that bloomed in their Grandmother's garden in the north or Midwest can be disappointed by a lackluster performance if they live in a warmer region.
