Camphor Tree (Cinnamomum camphora) - Description
C. camphora is native to China and Japan. It is typically a strong-structured tree with a heavy trunk and spreading limbs. It's leaves smell like campor when crushed. It bears new pink, red, or bronze foliage in early spring, and matures to shiny yellow green. It bears fragrant yellow flowers, which bloom profusely in late spring, followed by small blackish fruits.

Flowers are small, yellow and rather inconspicuous, but they can have a strong fragrance. Bowl-shaped flowers are borne from spring to summer, followed by black berries.
