Deutzia (Deutzia scabra) - Description
D. scabra is native to Japan and China. It bears dull green toothed leaves with white or pale pink flowers in narrow upright clusters.

Airy sprays of fragrant, white or pink spring flowers.
Deutzia (Deutzia scabra) - Growth
Deciduous shrubs from 2-8 feet tall, depending on species. Some develop extra foliating bark with age. Deutzia do best in full sun, but some species will tolerate partial shade. Grow Deutzia in a shrub border, or larger plants as specimens. Less hardy plants can be grown against a wall.
