Japanese Pachysandra (Pachysandra terminalis) - Description
P. terminalis is native to Japan and northern China. It bears evergreen leaves that are shiny dark green. It also bears small white flowers that are borne in 1 to 2 inch spikes.

The stems of the plant will grow to approx. 10 inches in deep shade. If the Pachysandra is planted in dappled shade, the stems will grow to be approx. 6 inches tall. Works well as a groundcover.
