This is a old time favorite indoor plant that is a fast growing and lush climbing vine. Allow some space for it to climb and you will see it fill a space impressively. This plant will thrive in indoor locations that can range from full sun all the way to full shade. Just plant in a well draining potting mix and water thoroughly--allow soil to almost dry out before watering again. This subspecies of Philodendron scandens has young leaves that are tinted with bronze-brown.

Petalless flowers may appear on mature plants if heat, light, and humidity are high, resembling callas, with a boat-shaped bract surrounding a club-shaped spike like structure.
