Japanese Snowbell (Styrax japonicus) - Description
Styrax japonicus is a species in the genus Styrax. Styrax are popular ornamental woody shrubs and trees in warm temperate and tropical regions, owing to their pendulous, white flowers.

Bell-like white flowers with light fragrance in spring.
Japanese Snowbell (Styrax japonicus) - Growth
Trees and treelike shrubs. Grows best in full sun or partial shade with protection from the wind. Styrax makes a nice addition to a woodland garden. Also works well as a stand alone plant.

Sow seeds when ripe. Keep temperature at 59°F (15°C) for 3 months and then at 32-41°F (0-5°C) for another 3 months. Can also propagate from greenwood cuttings in summer.
